Magazine London is a new event space for the capital. This purpose-built, 19,994 sq m destination is the largest of its kind in London, offering a striking blank canvas for culture and commerce; it is a unique opportunity for brands and businesses to interact with global and local audiences.
The venue is defined by simple architectural form, offering clean and functional spaces that provide a means for large-scale creative expression.
Magazine boasts 3,205 sq m of versatile interior space for up to 3,000 people and can extend to accommodate a further 7,000 people across the venue’s outdoor showground. Access is also available to The Pylon, a site inspired by the famous sculpture by Alex Chinneck, that stands as a key feature of the surrounding area. Magazine London encapsulates a flexible and inspiring environment, providing an unrivalled landscape for brand events, awards dinners, conferences, exhibitions, fashion, the arts and ticketed culture.
Located in the heart of Greenwich Peninsula, with breathtaking views of Canary Wharf, the venue is easily accessible by the Underground (within a three minute walk), road and river.

Event spaces
Space 1
Guests arrive into Space 1, which features a floor-to- ceiling glass window that provides unbroken views of the River Thames and Canary Wharf skyline. Guests can also take in these unrivalled views of the landscape by venturing outside onto The Terrace and into The Yard, areas designed to leave a lasting impression.
Space 1 boasts an impressive seven-metre high ceiling, polished concrete floors and two industrial steel stairways that lead to the upper mezzanine levels. Space 1 is ideal as an area for informal catering, pre-dinner drinks, and as exhibition or break-out space.
Space 1 can also be used as a connection to the adjoining Showground, through a series of glass doors.

Space 2 (main space)
Space 2 is the largest internal space at Magazine London; its vast walls are painted black, allowing for a striking backdrop in which to elevate your brand and content against.
This main space features polished concrete floors and clear sight lines to the stage, providing an adaptable and versatile environment in which to host your event.
Space 2 features removable staging infrastructure and provides direct vehicle access for automotive launches and displays.
The space is ideal for conferences, large-scale performances, award ceremonies, dinners, exhibitions and brand events.

Mezzanine 1 & 2
Both Mezzanines are accessible via two industrial steel staircases in Space 1 and can be utilised as VIP areas or as overflow for higher guest numbers; they can also operate as break-out, seminar and exhibition space.
Mezzanine 2 overlooks the main space and provides access to The Balcony, an intimate area featuring stained timber decking. The Balcony serves as an impeccable viewing platform for the River Thames and Canary Wharf skyline.

The Showground
At 9,700 sq m, The Showground at Magazine London has an outdoor capacity of up to 7,000 people and is surrounded by panoramic views of Canary Wharf cityscape, providing a remarkable backdrop that is unprecedented in London.
This extensive outdoor land offers boundless opportunities for product launches, summer parties, vehicle displays, corporate team away days, large installations, additional structures and cultural ticketed partnerships.

The Pylon
Inspired by, and home to the famous sculpture by British artist, Alex Chinneck, The Pylon site is located by the venue and provides the option of additional outdoor space for events.
The installation, titled ‘A Bullet from a Shooting Star’, resembles an upside-down electricity pylon, as if the structure has been shot out of the sky and into the earth. Chinneck’s inspiration for the piece is drawn from the industrial structures that once docked the River Thames.
Constructed at 35-metres tall, the steel structure remains a prominent beacon for those travelling through and visiting Greenwich Peninsula and now illuminated blue at night, pays homage to the NHS.

TV & film
Located on Greenwich Peninsula (North Greenwich) and just a stone’s throw away from the city centre, Magazine London remains largely undiscovered by film producers and location scouts.
The building evokes an industrial style of architecture through a contemporary warehouse design; with an external steel structure and saw-tooth cladding and an internal palette of patinated steel, black OSB walls and polished concrete floors.
As a purpose-built venue, Magazine London lends itself as an alternative film studio, providing an unrivalled landscape for filming, locations, set build, rehearsals and unit base parking.
The internal venue offers 3-phase power, high ceilings, multiple rigging points, production office space and dressing room facilities.
Over 179,000 sq ft of external build space is also available, surrounded by panoramic views of the River Thames and Canary Wharf skyline.

There is no on-site guest parking available at the venue and we encourage guests to make use of local transport facilities. There are bike racks available should you wish to cycle to the venue.
