Earlier this month, we welcomed back Black Tech Fest for the second year running. The three-day festival celebrates Black culture, showcasing innovation and creating pathways for underrepresented talent. This year’s theme was ‘Black Is Future’, sparking inspirational talks from some of the biggest names in tech, business and culture, including; musician and presenter Craig David, author and journalist Candice Brathwaite, and founder and creative director Fisayo Longe.

As the premier diversity festival in Europe, Black Tech Fest brings together some of the world’s leading brands, from Google and TikTok, to Salesforce and Sky. The event gives future talent the opportunity to meet with tech leaders, while giving brands the means to explore ways of building teams and products more inclusively. Over 2,000 guests attended across the two live events days, with up to 20,000 attendees tuning in virtually, thanks to the event’s hybrid element.

The versatility of Magazine shone, with three stages built across Space 2 and Mezzanine 1, hosting panel discussions, keynote speakers, live broadcast and intimate fireside chats. Space 1 and 2 were abuzz with the expo, showcasing sponsor booths and presenting the best in innovation from tech-leaders.Â
