On April 26, risk specialists Beazley Insurance held an unforgettable reception at Magazine London, curated specifically to “shed light” on the brand’s story and to celebrate their success to date. From a purple QR-shaped drone display to a headlining performance from Boney M–the evening, like Beazley’s profound narrative–was certainly marked by firsts. Magazine London’s distinctive venue turned into an idyllic space to accommodate this unique experience.

The event, produced by Vibration Production, unfolded into an elegant evening with an esteemed guest list of over 800 people. Food stalls featuring Smoked Salmon carving and the Great British charcuterie were complemented by roving oyster shuckers, signature cocktails and even, branded ice cubes.  The panoramic London skyline elevated the experience for guests, wowing guests either as a backdrop whilst inside or as feature whilst on the Terrace.

The evening also benefitted from a custom drone light show designed by SKYMAGIC. Guests watched from a marquee out on the Showground as 400 synchronized drones took to the night sky to tell the Beazley story, set against a backdrop of the Canary Wharf skyline. To cap things off, the evening included an aerial violinist performance which accompanied a headlining act from the disco and funk band, Boney M (provided by Full Circle). The unique spectacle garnered significant intrigue from the public and even caught the attention of the business press and social media platforms, Tik Tok and Lad Bible.

They certainly lived up to their tag-line. They might be an insurance company, but they definitely do things differently.
