In April 2022, Magazine London was transformed for one of its most ambitious events. The Vorwerk International Awards was a multi-stage event, including a reception, awards ceremony, a live performance from Robbie Williams, and a seated dinner for one thousand guests. One of Germany’s biggest manufacturers and creators of the Thermomix, Vorwerk needed a venue that could accommodate its teams from across Europe, and reward them with a high-end and fully catered night out.
The reception benefited from the panoramic riverside views of Space 1, with a bar built in the centre of the space to aid circulation and networking. The main event was in Space 2, with a full-size stage built for the ceremony, seating for a thousand guests and a wraparound digital screen. While the arena was transformed for the afterparty, guests enjoyed dinner in a bespoke marquee built on the Showground. The marquee was built around the concept of a food village, with options ranging from bao buns to curry, raw creations and mezze. It created a social, creative environment that reflected the ethos and food culture at the heart of Vorwerk. Ending with an unforgettable performance by Robbie Williams, the night was a great example of how to throw seamless, multi-part events at Magazine.
