In February 2022, David Koma utilised Magazine London for his RTW Fall 2022 Fashion Show.
Celebrating his official British Citizenship, Koma paid homage to the country by theming the show around football and rugby. The Main Spaces at Magazine London were transformed to feel like a cleverly designed stadium, with panoramic views of the River Thames. Inspired by Lily Parr, the female football player whose 1920 Boxing Day game caused uproar, David Koma played on the codes of football from a female perspective.
The setting was perfect for the show with Space 1 and 2 providing spectacular settings for catwalks and large-scale shoot builds. The Mezzanine levels, terraces and green rooms provide further opportunities for lookbook shoots, dressing rooms and production space.
